Community Notice - Vallejo Police Department Town Hall and Personnel Complaints Policy Comments
The VPD is seeking public comments on its complaint policy. Please see the attached flyer and also go to this link where you can see the information about the development of the policy with the technical assistance provided under the provisions of the settlement agreement and provide comment.
Additionally, there will be a Town Hall Meeting for public to come and comment as described below.

At this community session, the Monitor Team will moderate a community meeting to gather your perspectives regarding the Bakersfield Police Department and the role of the community in improving police practices.
We will introduce the Monitor Team, briefly update you on the reform efforts underway in Bakersfield and host guided discussions.
We will seek your opinions on your interactions with the Bakersfield police, defining the community perception and goals for policing in Bakersfield and your expectations of the Monitor Team. Our outcome goal is to use the community perspective to more fully inform the police reform work underway.
